I installed Led tail lights on my 2018 Tacoma, and it was hyper flashing and when I press the brake the signal light would not flash. I had some resistors installed and this stopped the hyper flashing however the signals still do not flash when I press the brake. Any ideas?

    Thank you

    This? https://www.carid.com/2017-toyota-tacoma-taillights/spyder-fiber-optic-tail-lights-1097242079.html

Personally, anything by spyder is trash so i would say return it.

I think Tacoma beast tail lights had this issue once and if I'm not mistaken I think it was resolved by using a ferite core around a wire.

But i would return them and save up $$$ for high quality lights. You will have other issues with coating wearing out on the lens and moisture leakage.

So this is my second pair. I ordered these on tacoma beast. I received the first pair. Once I installed them I had the same issue that they hyperflashed and when you push the break they dont signal. I went in person to spyder auto and they confirmed i got a defective pair but I had to go through tacoma beast to get an rma. So time goes buy since you can only communicate tacoma beast through email for any issue. I recieved the rma and I sent them a video to fully confirm they didnt work properly. So I finally was able to send them out and get them replaced with a new set which are the ones in the picture. I take them out the box and installed them And what do you know not a single thing changed they still didnt work, they still hyper flash and dont work when you break. I have a 2016 tacoma Trd offroad. So I'm not sure if theres any difference from tail lights that could be an issue why they might not work or they just dont work in general. So in my opinion they don't work at all no matter what method you try to make them work they just will not work like OEM.
