I'm selling my PUTCO LED light bar right now for $40 + shipping. It just plug and play into the trailer hitch adapter and for reverse basically splice the wire and tap it into the reverse light.

I like the way the PlasmaGlow looks even though it does costs more. The Rampage didnt get very good reviews on Amazon, not that its bad but some people had bad luck with it I guess.

Does it have to be hard wired or does it mean if you use the trailer plug that supplies power as well? Im guessing if the trailer has power from that plug then this light bar would as well.

I haven't had any problems with the rampage light and i am going on 4 months of it on the truck.. But the light bar can be either hard wired (highly recommended) and just plugged into the hitch plug. i got mine hard wired because if you hook your trailer up then you have to dissconnect the light bar. So if you hard wire it, both the trailer and the light bar will function. (not like it takes much to unplug it, just makes one extra step)

There nothing wrong with the light bar or anything it just that I'm getting a high clearance rear bumper therefore I can't keep it because I'm going with offroad lighting in the rear so it has much more output when I go offroading. BTW it's basically a plug and play there's no hardwiring involve, all you do is plug straight up into the hitch adapter and tap the reverse wire into the LED wire so it'll come on whenever you put in reverse.

Ok i spoke with plasmaglow and they said they don't normally set group buys up but If we have enough interest he can try and get things rolling with a discount. He reccomended we add the firestorm light controller which makes installation much easier. The contoller plugs into the 4-pin tow hitch adapter leaving the only wires to run the constant power and the reverse. Otherwise he says we would have to run the turn signal wires to the front and the brake to the third breaklight since they all share bulbs in the tail lights. So I know its hard to say without a price (remember I am working directly with the manufacturer) but about how many are interested? I can set up a poll if it is easier
