Probably just a cheaply built/made aftermarket connector. Like you said, I would try to see if you could get any type of refund since the product was faulty. Tacomabeast lights are most likely better quality than what you got on ebay. Tacomabeast has yet to disappoint me on quality of there products sold. And if you order the taillights from Tacomabeast and you aren’t pleased with them, don’t sweat it. They offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and easy returns. Hope this helps!

    -Cheers

Just initiated a return through Ebay. Would love if the TacomaBeast ones are beefier since I really like the look of this light. I'll probably give them a try.

Got mine installed with no issues, except for having to take a connector off with force. 20181231_174823.jpg

Really like the modernized look of these. The Tacomabeast ones are plug n play?

After some time how are these lights holding up for all of you guys? I recently just busted my tail lights and I’m now looking to upgrade

I like em a lot. Have held up for almost a year. No issues whatsoever. Ironically, today I found that one has a deep scratch :annoyed:. Cheapest I have found them are from OEMASSIVE, not sure if my link still works from a previous post.

Mine are still good to go, after countless powerwasher foam-cannon hits. No leakage, no burned out LED's. I'm more than happy with mine.
