Have been through several threads and still a bit confused, have a 2023 tacoma off road, replaced the halogen headlights with OEM LEDs and purchased the FBC harness, I have stock taillights and mirror flashers. The problem I ran into is the taillights and mirror hyperflash and drivers side turn signal flashes once then stops, passenger side works fine. Any suggestions?

Check your connections. If it continues, swap FBC harness sides and check again.

Same issue with the same light? So the problem did not follow the harness, but stayed on the drivers side? And the taillight/mirror are hyper flashing while the front light flashes once, then won’t flash again?

Also @Dash1967 do you have a multimeter? My first suspicion is something in the headlight has shorted causing too much resistance, but the fact that the mirror and taillight are hyper flashing is really weird. Usually an overloaded circuit will do the “flash once, then not again” on the whole side. Not a mix of hyperflash and single flash.

Hard to say but sounds like a faulty left headlamp? My next step would probably be to swap the right lamp to the left side and see if all the left side starts working properly. The different conditions at mirrors and such is definitely weird though.

Yeah, I thought I’d dealt with every way you could possibly make it overload or hyperflash, but I guess not

I might have some cheap connectors lying around that I could make you an extension. Would be easier than removing the headlight itself, but you probably won’t get it until Friday or so. I’m in Denver, so shipping is usually 2-4 days
