Where is the signal flasher locted on a 2006 Tacoma, I have added LED bulbs and have hyper flash, I read that I need to change the resistance as the LED have little resistance

Idk about 2nd gens, but on first gens the flasher relay is under the dash by where the driver's left leg goes. You can buy a replacement relay designed for LEDs, swap it for the old one and you're good to go. This is what I did on my truck and it worked great. Super easy.

Welcome bud, just buy a 5 ohm resistor and splice the wiring between the power and signal wiring of the blinkers.

Oh wait, you swapped the relay for one made specifically for LEDs, I got you. If there was something like that for 2nd gens that would be the way to go since the resistors get pretty hot..

Is that not an option for second gens?

Not sure, there is a trick to grinding down the pin on the OEM relay until the resistance weakens, but successes aren't many of the ones that tried.

That was an option for me, but the replacement relay wasn't expensive so I spared myself the trouble of jacking with it

I will get the electronic flasher as this seems to be easier than splicing resistors
    Thanks
