I'm finally about to pull the trigger and after looking at Aluminum Contractor Caps, Alu-Cab, Mid Rise..... etc, etc, I think I'm just going to go with one of these.

For some reason, my wife didn't want my truck to have an "ugly" cap like the contractor types or Alu-Cab. She just doesn't get it huh?

I would like input on these two caps. Even the non commercial versions. I'm leaning Leer for three reasons...

    1. It's looking like I can get it cheaper.
    2. It has more standard options according to the website.
    3. There have been some complaints about the CX not fitting just right on the third gens and the cap ending up a little taller than what looks right.... there was a big MPG hit thread discussion about the CX on the third gens.

I would like some final input on these if you have it!

    Options?
    Sliding, Tilting Glass
    Headliner
    Sliding Windoors
    Tracks on top

I'm shocked no one responded to you on this. Im looking at getting a 100Rcc in a few months for my self. I got quoted less then 2k for install with all the options that I want. The only issue with it is that I do not care for the rear window. It has the double tbar on each side.

    Options I got quoted.
    Removable front window w slider
    Both side windoors with slider
Not getting tracks because I plan on putting front runner tracks on

Comes with LED dome light which I don't really care about since I plan on setting up some led lights in there and it comes with a carpeted roof.

The big thing for me is that the leer says it can hold 450lbs static as compared to the 200lbs the rest of their shells are rated at.
