Just got a used Leer XQ, and the rear window doesn’t exactly sit flush (see photos). Is this normal?

Cap is mint, fits well all around, and no leaks whatsoever.

I did need to adjust the two latches in order for the rear window to latch perfectly, but I got these as tight as possible with the rear window still being able to close (any tighter and the tailgate molding prevents rear window from closing…)

Yes, but if I adjust these tighter, the rear cap window bottoms out on the tailgate molding causing it not to latch…

EDIT SOLVED: The cap needed shims (used coroplast for now, will replace with rubber gasket material) on the bedrail molding in order to raise it up 1/8”, giving the rear cap window more clearance over the tailgate molding. Then I was then able to tighten the left/right side latch keepers MUCH MORE to close the gap…

Did you ever find a permanent solution? Been a few years so curious what has worked for you in the long run. Encountering this issue on a cap I just picked up for my truck.
