    Hey guys,

I did a lot of research and went with the luxury style Leer shell. I bought this primarily for camping/sleeping in. I just spent a weekend in it and here are my pros and cons.

PROS: Side windows tilt open in a way that allows you to keep them open and get ventilation even when raining, the water runs off and does not come inside which is a big plus for me. The large windows inside offer great views from inside. The shells design matches the Tacoma body lines perfectly! Everything fit like a glove and no leaks at all. The rear window has a nice modern style latch to open and the windows have a screen on the inside to keep the bugs out.

CONS: The screen on the side windows is removable which is nice however it was designed very poorly for how expensive the shell was. The screen can slide side to side about 2 inches ( no idea why ) and because of this, the screen does not mount flush to the window and there are gaps where bugs can come right through. I use tape to hold it shut while I camp to avoid critters inside. Also the handle that twist to open the side windows also has 2 big gaps on either side which allow bugs to get in and again I taped it up while camping. And the biggest con is the price..... this bad boy was $2,882 out the door with sliders added to the top for future rack.
