Just picked up my new 100XR leer. Did notice the bottom of the window frame isn't straight on both sides and nearly contacts the windoor. Anyone else have this? Other than that, I'm pretty happy with it. Nice to be able to throw stuff in the back without worrying about it flying out or walking away.

I've had that same shell twice, and the snugtop version once. Sometimes they're made on a Friday... but still a great shell. Careful that you don't get debris between the shell and cab, I lost a bunch of shell paint due a few sycamore tree seed pods I didn't catch—which isn't covered under warranty!

Easy peasy fix. Went back to the installer, they were able to realign them so they are all straight now. Other than that, pretty happy with it so far!

malichite...curious to hear why you chose the 100XR over a 100R (or Leer over ARE, Snugtop). I am in the homework phase on shell selection and am leaning toward the Leer 100R. I also have a LB OR and feel the shell will induce me to do more camping, lol.

I went with the XR, because I wanted the single center handle with remote lock. I Priced out all 3, and Leer was the only one I could get a quote from in a decent amount of time. I got pretty much every option on this one, removable sliding front window, sliding windoors both sides, rack, carpet, lights. I'm of the buy once cry once mindset. Now that they fixed the windows, I'm quite happy with it.

The remote lock is the greatest thing since sliced bread in my opinion if for no other reason than I don't have to deal with frozen key locks in the winter.

If only the remote locks worked on the windoors as well, this thing would be perfect!

Can I ask where you are located and how much you paid for the Leer shell?

Best thing you can do is go to the LEER website and fill out a bid sheet. That is what I did. Got 1 quote for $3200.00. And got another quote for the same top for $2600.00.

I just got my 100xr 2 weeks ago and the windoors were definately built on a friday afternoon  . Rubber seals squirting out of their grooves, glue slopped everywhere. Where the metal frame is screwed together the heads of the screws are sticking out, the philips drive is stripped out. Since the head isnt flush they couldn't paint it right, exposed metal sticking out

Ive had several leer canopies from this same dealer in Edmonds and they were always great quality, thats why i went back.

The fiberglass shell and rear window is perfect, the exact quality i was expecting.. but the side windows on this thing are trash

That would bug me. Leer is supposed to be better than that.
