Leer break light suddenly not working!

Two months ago I disconnected the lighting harness and removed my leer topper. Today I put it back on and reconnected- no break light! What the hell?! There is no damage to the plug or harness in the cap...no obvious reason why it would suddenly not work....I need to leave for a long trip in about 48 hours and need the light working. No idea where to start. Any advice?
