Leer Cap XR100

Does anyone have the height measurements from the bed to ceiling on a Leer XR100. Trying to figure out if my dog kennels with fit under the camper top and on top of a decked storage system. I know the decked system has a height of 12”. The kennels are 30.5”. That would put me at 42.5” of total height.

You really need the clear height to the door opening, NOT to the ceiling.

 

This is on a long bed but I’m pretty sure the short bed is the same. My 100r is right at 37.5” with the bed mat in place….bed mat accounts for approx .5” so maybe 38” without the bed mat. This is an inside measurement bed mat to ceiling of the leer at the highest point (middle).
….door opening is 33.25” from bed to door frame with door opened. Your XR may be slightly different on the door opening measurement due to the all glass door.

 

The clear door opening is 31" high. Inside (in the middle of the bed) the height is 37". (These are measurements from my own setup.)

If you subtract 12" for the Decked storage system, there clearly isn't enough room for your kennels.

You would need a high-top model like the Leer 122. But I don't have the exact dimensions of that one.

ETA: My measurements are with the OEM bed mat in place. Also, the measurements might vary slightly depending on how the cap sits on the bed sides, the type of gasket used, etc.
