Leer Paint Job on 100XR

Purchased a new Leer cover for 2023 white Tacoma SR5. Color not even close. Cover is a bright white and truck is a creamy white. Not sure what the fix is per other posts that indicate that Leer will do more damage if cover gets sent back.

Has anyone taken Leer cover with truck to a Toyota body shop or even a marine boat repair as this is a fiberglass top.

Just got mine installed a day ago. It’s def not perfect but I wasn’t really expecting that since they were born at two different places. No advice on shops but just saying you’re not alone!

 

Mine does not match as well. Just don’t wash your truck too much and nobody will notice.

 

My Snagtop doesn’t match 100% either.

 

I had my retailer make a claim with Leer for a repaint and they (Leer) covered the entire price for the repaint due to mismatch.

Leer must have some amateur painters or failed to get the right paint codes...
