    Hello,

I have a used Leer 100R with a TAG fuse box. I don’t need to wire up anything but the third brake light, no power locks or dome light. Would your regular brake T work in this scenario? Obviously I would have to get the appropriate molex connector to fit the 6 prong on the box. I’m trying to avoid having to spend so much on the TAG harness and switch box if I don’t need to.

Yeah, you could do a standard brake T or the flange option if you want to drill a hole. Then feed that to the TAG by crimping on deutsch female terminals to the end of the TAG molex harness. Or I can do the 12" connector on top of the flange option for a little extra. Like a TAG mini kit if you will.

The 2 pos flange is a little bit more work to install b/c you can't fit a connector through the minimum hole size for the flange so I do it as a pin-your-own DIY sorta thing. Not that stuffing the wires into a deutsch connector is hard or anything, just a little extra work.

I’d be interested in a TAG mini kit so to speak. I will need to remove the shell a couple times a year so I’m trying to make it as clean as possible.

I was actually able to find a Leer 7 way harness kit locally just now, so I’m gonna go with that since it’s the officially blessed way by Leer themselves. I appreciate the help though, I’ll be sure to keep you in mind for any other mods I need wiring for.
