Anyone have this option with their XL. I know the XR's have them. I'm about to get a used XL and it has sliding windows wish I want. Is this rare?

I thought the differentiating factor with Leers was the side and back windows. I think all the "X"s have the frameless glass rear window then all the other letters (Rs or Xs) differentiate the side windows. The one you are looking at, does it have sliding WINDOORS? Maybe that is what he is talking about, and if so, I would think that would make the XLs and XRs pretty much the identical.

It was my understanding that the xr had sliding side windows and the XL had the partial twist out vented type. But after posting this I found one other person selling an XL with sliding side windows. I ended up purchasing the one I was looking at and it is indeed a 100XL with sliding side windows. The front window also completely folds down in addition to sliding open. This top came new on a 2015 tacoma from the dealership and has an 100Xl plate inside. Soooo I think it may have been custom and not standard which is why it has the side sliding windows.

Seems weird to me, but if you got what you want, sounds like you are good to go!

Yeah still pretty confused by it also but yes from what i've read, the XL is a step above the XR and I wanted sliding side windows and not push put partial windows so it appears I lucked into it and got a what I wanted. The whole folding down front window was a great surprise bonus.
