Yeah I was wondering about the stickers?
No, the paint sample does not match my truck. The truck is a bit lighter. For anyone buying a camper, I would eyeball it very close before I accepted it. The place I bought it claims that vehicle manufacturers can be slightly off on paint colors once in a while.

So the same paint will look different when sprayed on the different materials, even when primed first. Light and angles also plays a huge part. This is just the way paint goes; it's difficult to remove all the variables to get a true look at differences in actual paint color. When I look close enough, my front bumper (plastic) looks different than the metal corner panels on my Explorer. What's really funny is the back bumper was resprayed after an accident and is a better (but not perfect) match to the metal color.

Having said all that...I still have a hard time not thinking Leer is full of BS.

heading down to local topper shop to order XL, the 1G3 paint (Magnetic Grey) has 3 or 4 shades so they want to see the truck and use their paint chips to match. Excited to get topper. base price is $1800 here with free headliner (-$125). Getting racks too.
