Left and Right Mirrors Don't Stick Out The Same?

    2015 TRD Sport and noticed that the drivers mirror sticks out further by about an inch and the passenger side is canted back.
    Never noticed this until today and don't think my 2010 did this.
    Our 2015 Rav4 is the same.
    When did Toyota start doing this.

    Yes, trust me they are designed that way.
    And as I mentioned our Rav is the same.
    Learned of this from a Rav forum.
