Do you still have the SB, if so how does it compare to the throttle response of the ECT button? I like it but it holds the gears to long in some situations.

Still available. What the ECT does is hold the gears longer in the power band when pulling/towing. The SB sends a signal to throttle body to open quicker for quick acceleration.

No sir, had this for that period with no issues and fit like a glove in my 3rd gen.
It might fit a second gen but may get a lift out of that though. I know the 3rd gen suspension fits 2nd gen trucks and they get an inch lift.
