Well ive been a slacker on this . Finally it outta the garage and back from a a shake down run.
Front diff is in . Motor and trans mounts are done locker all wired up and working. Install a 33 tooth speedo . The odometer is showing 1-2 mph faster than the gps. 4.88 in 4 low is nice and slow. The solid motor mounts definitely give off some vibration. But its mainly at idle and when lugging the motor. .
So ill share this issue and wins that i encountered. I did 90% of this by myself. I did have the neighbor come over and help with lining up the motor mounts to frame perch. While his help was appreciated he did end up breaking part of my charcoal canister. So that was fun to fix.
    Issues:
    1. getting to the mounts was a bitch. Big hands and shock tower braces dont mix well.
I ended up just removing the old mounds as one unit. Which lead to..
2.in order to remove the drivers side ie. "The problem side. " mount required me to remove my oil filter which leads to the next issue.
    3. I believe that i got dirt into the oil filter lower drain . So i drained the oil and pulled the pan.
4 . I broke the vent to the add actuator trying to remove the old vac tubing.
    5. My neighbor broke part of the charcoal canister. The tank vent . Lol
    6. I had to pull one of the bolts on each of the motor mounts and grind down the washer because it came in contact with a weld and would lay flat. I was going to pull the whole mount to grind/clean up the wield.
7.had to move the ac compressor to get to the bracket hold the passenger side mount to the block.
    Wins !!
1 the diff slid right out!! And went back in pretty easy. I used a small transmission jack from harbor freight. And had the drivers side motor mount spaced up and the transmission mount unbolted and raised.
    2. Changing the oil pan gasket was pretty easy. The diff was already out.
    3. I got a new jack. .. yeah that a win. Lol
4 . I had a parts canister and was able to pillage the part to fix the break.
    5. Ever thing seams to be working good on the first try... I'm staying optimistic.

    Pictures.
    New jack.

Diff back with new dura bump isolators. I had to use a press to get them to seat all the way.

Got lazy and wen the easy route for the switch. I was planning on putting it next to the clutch cancel switch but it was going to be to close to a bunch of bracing. But its easy enough to reach and i can always move it if theis location doesn't work..

    And all naked.

And the shell is upside down in my garage and I'm off to HD to get some foam to try and insulate it a bit.

Were gonna give the shell a try. I have a carpet kit and expo pad to go in so hopefully we can have a faster setup and take down. The misses isn't supper excited about climbing up the ladder. So I'm hoping that this will work better. And even though the shell is taller i believe my trucks center of gravity will be a little lower with more of the weight down lower. i think the shell will allow me to use my truck for other things. With the tent setup it isn't practically for anything other than camping.
I'm keeping the tent for now and letting the kids use it as they all have some sort of suv.

I have kicked around the idea of a taller shell as well.

So lunch break. It snowed in my garage.
Been making some progress on the shell i got all the foam in now just to tape it. And decided if i 2ant to tackle the carpet now or later. I still have other projects that need tending too.

What a chore. Got it done for now. Gonna try it out first and see what it needs. So lightning is definitely on the short list. Otherwise truck is mostly back together and ready to play.
Used 3m 77. Hopefully ill hold.

Thanks man i really try to make it work well. Your truck is pretty awesome too. I dont know if your on IG but i put up a video of you rolling by in the wash but my fat fingers must have it the slow motion . So it looks cool but you don't necessarily get to full feeling of speed. My IG is chrslefty too.

That was one of the funner sections of day 2 where the trail cut through a mountain range. I did get the pictures of when I was going down the trail with my head out the window looking at wheel placement and hanging in place by the tightness of the seat belt against my chest.
I'll put the rest of the pics up later. I'm off the put in the overload springs so hopefully I won't be hitting the bumps the whole trip this time.
