Are you running extended travel Icons?

Edit: sorry I just re-read your 1st post. How long did you get between rebuilds?

Rack looks awesome man! You already have the tent right?

Btw how’d you know it was time to rebuild the shocks? Were they just bouncing all over the place? Or?

My shocks were popping/knocking. And they were blowing through the travel pretty easily.
The shock guy said that they were low on oil.

Dang ive been a slacker on my build.
Got some welding done by advid offroad, those guys are great stayed late and squeezed me in.
they welded up some solo coil bucket braces and total chaos knuckle braces, and they put some extra welds on the skid plate mount for me too. Crappy pics followed. Still need to go get it aligned.

I’d looked at those braces after I installed my front end parts. Didn’t know if they’d make a difference so I’m interested to see what you think. Keep us posted.

Mind if I ask what they charged to burn those in for you? How long did it take?

It feels tight and a little heavy. Im going to get an ailment soon. So ill see if that makes any difference.
But ive been driving a car lately so I'm not sure how accurate of a statement that is and the steering on my truck has been heavy for a while. Your more that welcome to give it a drive and see if you can tell a difference.
I brought them all the parts and they had my truck for 2 days. He said it was about 6 hours of work.
I think that he way .. like half under charged me what he should have.

Did you have to get longer UCA bolts or did the factory ones have enough thread to work with the new braces? They are on both sides of the UCA mounts right?

Finally got my ditch light brackets installed. And I'll be replacing the piaa's with something else in the future and moving them down lower in the front.

So I got a new sticker for the snorkel. IMG_20190427_171000.jpg
And I still haven't finished painting my flair. I've painted it twice and I've now taken it back down to the plastic again because I can't paint for shit.
I attempted to get all my skids mounted up today. After fighting with it for 2 hours I just put the front on and I'll get the back one later. I always forget the order that they need to go on.

I'm actually going to go out for some little wheeling tomorrow.

    Where you headed tomorrow?

Have you taken the truck through a car wash with the snorkel on?

Theres some AZ guys going to sauaro lake tomorrow. It's some fun wash bombing getting back to the coves. Wanna come their meeting at 9 in Mesa. Off power rd.

I went through a brushless carwash the other day and it was fine.
