    All the tall drivers/owners of this truck, any possible ways to increase leg room? After driving 30 miles to work each day my left leg is feeling a bit cramped.. more so because I feel like I can't fully extend it as I drive the 6 speed so I have the clutch and dead pedal prohibiting full extension.

    I'm 6'3 any thoughts?

    My Buddy had this exact problem..... I moved his seat back and told him to stop driving it like his Grandmother....IE: face right up in the steering wheel....Elbows bent..!!:eek:

    Not saying you drive like that, but my buddy was.... After HE got used to the different driving style, he was very happy....!!:D

    He had his seat so far forward that I could NOT get into the truck without moving the seat back first..!!

    Good luck... :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Okay okay all didn't he test drive it jokes aside... is there a way to remove the "dead pedal" without breaking it? I feel like this would alleviate my problem.

    I think the dead pedal is metal and part of the cab. How about sliding your foot under the clutch pedal?

    @offthewallsurfer - is this the "dead pedal"? 1507844529220-1726662406.jpg

    Someone has removed the lump, and it was relatively easy, just couldn't find a link, if that is what you are asking.

    I am 6'-4" and don't have any problems with leg room.

    How many months gave you been driving?

    Have you tried different seat positions?

    Members have modified the seat- better than trading it in if that would work.

    I am tall (in my family) and have no issues with being comfortable. 10+ hours driving in one day and felt great after the drive.

    Yeah, I remember a member posting that mod.

    @offthewallsurfer , maybe change the title of your thread to dead pedal removal, or ask the question in threads like "what have you done 3rd gen thread.

    Someone has done this and I also remember it was not too difficult.

    I'm comfortable for the most part, just I have a clutch next to the foot rest so I can't fully extend my left leg. Iivable just trying to get a little better comfort

    I removed mine in my Corolla, was just a piece of foam. Was attached with 2 screws. I cut and trimmed the weather techs so they would lay flat. There was a lot more room with it gone. Should be about the same process on our trucks.
