    I remember when I was real young a friend and I skipped school and built a tree fort in a poison sumac tree (there was a field of these giant ones near my house at the time) . I didn't know at the time what it was actually and we spent a few hours climbing and hammering nails in these trees building our fort . My friend wasn't allergic to it and was fine but later I found out I was COVEREDDDDD in it omg it hurt so bad .

    I still remember walking out of the sumac woods and my mom just came around the corner getting home from work . I don't know what hurt worse , her beating my ass or the sumac poison

    Same here, I took off today as a result, just in case I got it through his post.

    So here's a story. A few years back, wife brushed the dog out. They came in, i saw a pile of hair on his back, grabbed it, threw it in the garbage can in the bathroom and then thought, I might as well take a piss while I'm in here. We then went swimming later that day. Next morning, wife's eye is swollen shut, and i was up scratching my pecker that night (thought it was irritated from swimming). Wife goes to Dr., poison in her eye. Next morning, i'm itching still, get up at 4AM to piss, and the little feller was all swollen. Dog got into it somewhere, neither of us knew it, and we paid for it. We both had to take roids to get rid of it. Man, that was a painful week.

    That is a picture of Staghorn Sumac , grows along roads and abundant ..... Not poisoness
    Poison sumac has yellow/green berries and only grows in wet swampy areas
