    Hello, members of Tacoma World!

I recently purchased a 2010 Tacoma TRD Sport Long Bed and ordered the long bed mat from the dealer. Once I got it and put it in, it's about 8 inches short reaching of the front of the bed. Dealer says it's the right one, but it looks like it's for the short bed to me. Anyone have a bedmat for the long bed that can measure? I can't find the length specs on the web or through Toyota accessories sites anywhere.

    Thanks for the help.

Mine pretty much goes the entire length. Sounds like Toyota is talking out of their asses. Pics?

They gave you a short bed mat. Long bed measures 72-3/4".

Thanks, Derek and Mr. Torque. Thought so. Mine measures about 59 1/2 inches. So much for the guys behind the parts desk at the dealer.

With the bed mat and a copy of the prior posts in hand, the dealer acknowledged it's the wrong one and reluctantly accepted the return. Now I'm amxiously awaiting the right one.:)

    That's an interesting twist.

Most times I've read about dealers/suppliers installing a long bed mat and cutting it to fit a short bed.

Dealer is an idiot. Go back and press the issue. The correct mat covers the whole bed.

Longbed double cabs seem rare. Parts guy probably just assumed & made an ass out of Ume. Who's your dealer?

The dealer is Walser Toyota in Bloomington. While I've been happy with the Walser GMC dealership for my other vehicle, some of the guys in the parts department at the Toyota dealer make it seem like your questions are a huge inconvenience to them. You would think that these days every dealership would be happy to have a new customer who not only bought a vehicle but is buying extra stuff from them, too.

Walser has better prices on parts than some others. They couldn't find me the truck I wanted so I had to look elsewhere. Too bad because they are close to me.
