    grrr...
if they fought i think the other dude thats not les, would win with his boy scout back round. but if they had a surival showdown i think the canadian duder would not die.

on a side note; has anyone seen that show with les and his family, who make a "green" self running house in the middle of the forest? pretty cool. i think its called "going green" or something like that. theres the whole season/documentry on yahoo or somewhere i seen it.

Both guys are bad ass, and could probably out live me in a walmart parking lot. But Les Stroud is, in my opinion, more true to the type of show he produces and broadcasts. Bear Is an entertainer, and a badass at the same time but with his production crew and ratings in mind more of a reality show. That being said, I wouldn't eat half the crap he eats for T.V.

Grylls all the way! Really they could both earn my vote, although you cant beat that special forces SAS background of Bear Grylls... SAS can hang with any special forces on the planet.

Forgot to add, bear also does all this was 3 crushed vertebrate! Pretty wild.

I'm sure Bear Grylls is very competent but as far as the shows go, Les Stroud definitely. Carries his own equipment, out there alone with no crew there if something goes wrong, and has to go back for the equipment after navigating some treacherous terrain so he winds of navigating it three times.

I would say Bear Grills is gnarlyer, SAS background. That guy has killed people in all likelihood. Both are very good at what they do, Les I would say however is a better survivalist.

    That video is downright hilarious!!

Grills is there to get the numbers, while Les is there for the true survivalist. Although if it was 1964 in the Vietnam jungle, I would take Grills on my side any day of the week.
