Most those features are tech gimmicks to get people to pay a crazy markup. More techy =/= better vehicle. Unfortunately people fall for that far too often. Like those refrigerators with a wifi tablet built into it. Dont fall for the gimmicks.

4 wheel disc brakes. Power seats on both sides. DONT MAKE THE TRUCK ANY BIGGER. All time accessible cameras front/back. Pro model with a higher lift, front/rear lockers, better wheel/tire combo from the factory. Ok, that’s enough. I don’t want the truck to cost $70k or more. LOL

I'm not a 'motor head'. Could you or someone please explain the benefits of the diesel over gasoline engine. Diesel fuel is more expensive, now all new diesels in the U.S. have the DEF which has to be added as well creating another unnecessary expense. My Tacoma has 300xxx plus miles on it so it can't be the mileage factor??

Whole new layer of sensors with a diesel for the def also. I can’t give knowledge answers but diesels can put out more power. I drive a truck with Detroit dd15 engine, 515hp. It would almost fit in my Tacoma

As someone who's other ride is a 17 year old TDI, yeah. I wouldn't buy another diesel if it came with DEF etc.

BSM built into the taillights, paddle shifters, stock hood lift, take the annoying green light off the mirror, bring back the stage two taillights, and stock blackout interior (especially the key hole for the glovebox!)

If they’re gonna adopt BMW reliability they might as well adopt the grill.

I'm pretty happy with the 3rd gen as it is. If I had to make a suggestion, I would suggest an AWD/fulltime-4WD system. Also a hybrid system would be nice.

That would be sick. That’s why the ZR2 is so appealing (purely engine)

Hybrids and trucks are never a good mix. Unless it’s mall crawling, You wade in the water once and come out the other side with a life time of headaches. It’s no surprise insurance companies are writing off hybrids in a higher rate than regular gasoline engines. It’s pretty fragile, with or without the CVT.

It would be simpler to throw in a diesel. It can take a beating have plenty of torque for towing and easy to maintain
