To play, post the build date of your Tacoma. It’s printed on the door jam decal in the top right corner. Feel free to
Post a picture of your Tacoma along with a basic spec list.

My 95.5 Tacoma was build in 03-95. It started life as a 4cy, 5speed, 4wd truck. It’s now on a 3rd gen 4Runner frame with 3.4/auto/4wd with elocker.

If anyone knows when the 1st Tacoma rolled off the assembly line and/or when the last one was built, post that here also!

Interesting topic, not sure I've ever seen build dates discussed! Don't have a picture of mine at the moment, but it's 05/04 (may of 2004) which I'm assuming is pretty late for still being a 2004 model year. '04 V6 5 speed TRD.

You made me curious so I stepped outside to take a look. Mine is 7/96, which must be one of the last 1996 models before they switched to 1997 I’d think, at least if they starting selling next years model partway through the year back in the 90s like they do now.

You have to have a '95 or '23 to win. You limited your crowd.

Wheel off is a game 1st gen owners actively try to avoid by replacing lower ball joints.

Yeah, 04/04. You beat me by a month. :) Interestingly enough, I purchased my 2004 near Pittsburgh, PA in 2007 and drove it home to NC the same day.
