Mine was also built 03/95... But mine is basically all original... tacoma.jpg

My brother was the original owner, and I "inherited" it when he passed away in 2020.

Only 155,500+ miles, just getting broke in... Aside from maintenance items its only had a replacement front bumper (mom backed into it in the driveway, and my brother was pissed), and I replaced the cracked exhaust manifold with a 2000+ tubular manifold. The stereo was upgraded (Sony cassette deck with CD changer controls, CD changer under the seat, infinity speakers and amps/X-overs), but now that 25 years old, and my brother upgraded to Bilstein shocks early on.

California truck its whole life, so no issues with frame rust, etc... He used to go skiing a few times a year for the first 10-15 years he had it. its nearly pristine...

Interior is still pretty nice, no tears on the seating areas.

Non-SR5, split-bench, but P/W, P/locks, P/S, Tilt, Cruise, A/C. My brother peeled the decals off after a few years when they started lifting (unfaded paint still slightly visible).

    2.7L, 5-speed, 4WD.

I adjusted the valves but otherwise we haven't been in the engine. Replaced the clutch master/slave/line. Changed all the fluids, replaced the A/C compressor, etc. Radiator broke last year so replaced that.

A little underpowered, but still cruises at 80 MPH with the A/C blasting...

Worst thing is the paint. Clearcoat mostly gone from the hood and roof, and clearcoat going on the wheels too...

    The Bed is stock...ish
man what a time capsule! That’s definitely a very early build date. The earliest one I’ve seen is 2/95 I think.

Come to think of it, it's been parked outside nearly every day and night since new...

    Hard to beat Toyota quality.

    We currently have a 2004 Corolla (85k miles), 2005 Prius (215k), 2009 Camry (135k) and a 2015 Sienna (99k)... My wife says only Toyota's or Hondas, and I can't argue with that...
