    Looks tougher, which it is..... Liked my BakFlip but it was pretty cheaply made compared to the DiamondBack. DB has a really good seal all the way around the bed and along with the locks,it’s more secure which I need because of where I work....

    I agree it looks tuffer, but not better than a bakflip....I just wish they would build one of the same design out of somthing other than Diamond plate
    and a little cleaner looking but still as durable.

    I had hail damage to my BakFlip MX4, was thin aluminum . When I bought it new,the box was full of metal shavings. Wasn’t impressed as a finished product. On the other hand, the DB is made in USA , packed extremely well, cost more but the quality of the hinges, instructions, etc.were 1st class compared to the Bak industries products..... I agree that a flush cover looks great on our Tacos ...To each his own brother.:thumbsup:

    Sorry I guess I din't communicate it well, but I was referring to the plastic part of the bumper that on the SR (my trim) is black, not the air dam mounted below it that I removed as well. I didn't realize it was colored matched on that trim in general. This is the part of the bumper I meant, whatever its called:

    That IS called the Front Bumper Valance - 53911-04210
    It comes black on most trim levels, but color matched on a couple. (Limited and Sport?)
