DIY box with a pair of 10" Kicker dual voice coil subs wired in series/parallel for a 2 ohm load on a Kicker 800 watt amp. She wont win any competitions but will damn sure rattle the windows when necessary.20190807_192311.jpg

Midway through install but it works well. Shallow mount JL 10TW1-4 fed by 500W off an HD 900/5. Mr Marv made the sealed enclosure to the sub's specs.

The sub is rated at 500 watts rms w/1500 watts max. It's hooked up to a X-FIRE AUDIO 600 watt amp.

Blue on blue ghost flames, 19 speakers k&n cold air intake, short shifter,
12 inch kicker sub rear seats modified to still open with the box. 19 speakers throughout the x-runner. Factory seats recline fully I'm not sure the new racing seats will with the side flare.

    Chenbro,

How are you liking that single 13 back there? I had 2, in a standard cab dodge that would absolutely pound.

They are 8" JL Audio ZR 800's; which replaced Audio Frog GS 690's. The doors can be deadened pretty well with no rattles, so the ZRs sound awesome on 200W+.

Nice sub. I like the whole theme you got going on. How does it sound? Is that box big enough for the subs specs?

Thanks. Sounds really good. i'm happy with it. I took a risk ordering the tan carpet from ebay cuz none of my local audio shops stock tan carpet. Its slightly darker than my trucks interior but barely

It is, yeah. It was made for me by @Mr Marv. Its made of birch and takes the place of the rear center console thing. Bolts up to the stock mounting points

Edit: To answer your question earlier, yeah the box was made custom according to JL's recommended enclosure specs for that sub. It's a JL 10W1V3- 2 ohm. It's designed to be used in a pretty small box
