I took some if these recommendations and purchased a Supercrewsound Single Sub Enclosure and the NVX VSW 104v2 Sub.

The Enclosure was delivered tonight but will get installed over the weekend. I need to modify my rear platform to properly fit the enclosure. Overall pleased and looking forward for the finall install and the improvements in sound quality

There are a few minor blemishes that I found , perfectly acceptable.. there's more, but im not going to post a picture of each thing I found

Bought an official NVX Grill because stuff bounces around back there while on the trail and I wanted that protection..and a comparison to what I had for the last many years..

How do you like this??? I have been looking at underseat sized setups, but maybe this is better suited. Not a big bass head, just want some more fill down low. TIA.

    Thank you x100

After reading through this whole thread I went with this setup. I’m really happy with the amount of bass this puts out and pretty clean too. It’s awesome.

I have something similar but with 8", I wish I installed the 10". The 8" is good enough for me though, I am pleased with my set up.

Ordered a Gately box and 6.5” subs after my JL 13tw5 took a nap. Ended up putting the kicker amps under the front seats. Really enjoying this setup so far. IMG_4940.jpg IMG_4939.jpg IMG_4938.jpg

I have a spare stealthbox, never even unwrapped it. Curious as well how it sounds. Need to get amps in to know. I’d report back if I ever got that done.

@NavyDiver72 I believe is the one with the blow through and likely the best setup without removing the rear seats.

Found this and it's exactly like what I need to do. Curious, did you leave the grille on the sub or remove it?

that was my thought but I’m real tight on space. Trying to cram it under my Goose Gear seat delete. Have about 7.25 between the platform and the floor.

realistically, you need to hold the speaker off the floor about the thickness of the grille anyways for proper sound dispersal-- ideally, it should be at least a 2" from the grille to prevent chuffing from air movement off the cone, but if space is tight, the air movement is just going to be an issue.

Thanks, appreciate it! That’s pretty much what JL Audio told me… 2” from face of the woofer to the next hard surface. Will be close. Might need to just give it a go and see what happens. Or go with a custom box but was trying to avoid that.

It’s going to be a minute or two before I’m able to post a build tread, but I will. Randomness from now.

My goal is that besides the A-pillar pods, everything is out of sight out of mind. Unless I show you, you would never see it.
