A dirty coffee cup is a well seasoned cup that adds flavor . One of my favorite mugs is nearing 35 yrs old and maybe has been washed in the dishwasher maybe a dozen or more times

It hasn't been in the dishwasher this year , just wiped clean under the kitchen faucet with a paper towel

I'll admit I'm approaching due for a damp paper towel exterior wipe in that picture.

That’s just disgusting. I couldn’t imagine not washing my cup daily. Leftover oils and nastiness leaching in to a fresh brewed cup.

It's a tradition in the Navy from when they would be out so long they would run out of coffee on the ships, and have to make emergency coffee. If it's good enough for the old salts it's good enough for me.

There’s very likely no caffeine left. If you’re just lookin for some nasty coffee flavored water though you do you. I’ll keep a nice clean mug each day though.

Whatever placebo or comfort it takes to get you through the day. It's not stupid if it works haha.

Here’s my tribute to my one and only trip to Okinawa. Yes, it’s Starbucks, but still it’s from Okinawa Starbucks. :D

Using my new enamelware camp mug from my TWSS, graphics designed by Prometheus Design Worx. I was too excited to wait until I went camping.
