‘98 regular cab, 4x4, 2.7, manual. Sold it because we started a family and a 2 seater wasn’t very practical. But I still wish I would’ve kept it. Mi taco verde.

 

Lol. Same. Could not get the baby seat in the extra-cab part.

 

Didn’t want to believe it, but after a long search, it looks like the only pics I have are from the end

 

I learned to drive on this 92 3vze 5speed. Sold it around 2002 and I think it still roams around

It wasn’t pretty or fast or modded, but it sure served me well! Came to me with 80k and I put another 100 on it with zero mechanical issues.
Literally the day before, I was telling a coworker how glad I was that I hadn’t had a car payment in a decade, wasn’t in the market for a new vehicle and wouldn’t be for another decade…

 

That’s horrible. I miss my brothers old 1st Gen Tacoma. I was dumb enough to buy a ranger haha

 

I'd probably still be driving this if the dealer hadn't kept calling me and offering me more and more for it, and they hadn't somehow gotten the exact truck I wanted in on the day I stopped by to see how serious they were.



I sometimes miss it, but I like my 3rd gen more.

Initially, I thought i'd remove the PRO decálogo, but the fam like them... and they have certainly gran on me.

I like the LR / Black ontrast and help integrate the blacl cap.

Bought My '96 new 27 years ago. Has served me well with 415,000 trouble-free miles. Has never been back to a dealership since I drove it off their lot.

 

‘93 even with a V6 was never quick. I’d probably still have it except AT.
