It's only a few months old but I expect it to hold up well. I have added running boards and mud flaps to help prevent chipping. Tri coat paints are typically very durable. Living in Texas I knew that white would hold up better to fading in the long run than some of the darker colors. I am using spray on ceramics for protection and it sheds water and dirt really well. The WCP hides dirty pretty well. One of Toyota's earlier White Pearls, Blizzard Pearl I believe, had a history of durability problems. That was Toyota paint code 070, WCP is 089, a totally different formulation. Don't be confused by the threads about issues with the older 070. Likewise, there were adhesion problems with 040 Super White. 040 is a mono-coat which is a totally different technology than the tri-coat 089 WCP. I think maybe 2018 was the first MY where Toyota used 089, but cannot confirm that for sure. Maybe someone with and older WCP can chime in.

I’m torn between WCP and LR for my next Tacoma.

Wind chill pearl is really the name of a color?

    Sounds like old lady perfume.
