I never seen Husky in person but I do want to try them. For the GLE it's too new that Husky doesn't make for this SUV yet.

It's raining over there already. Not here.

Must be just over your house because you're working on the Taco.

Just started to rain. Took awhile getting here.

Are the RainX Latitude Wipers any good? I mostly buy Toyota brand wipers but the quality seems to have went downhill.

Does these wipers leave something on the windshield, like RainX?

I think I saw something about wipers leaving something behind.

It's for my Toyota SUV. The rear wiper doesn't last as long. The one I just replace is a 3 months old and streaking like mad, and cracking.

The wiper blade is wider than average. If I don't go with Toyota then I would have to go for refill blade.

I thought about PIAA silicone wiper, taking the blade off, cut it to size and use it in my old wiper. Just an idea.

Yeah my wife has a cx-9 and the rear wiper is first to go. I was able to get the icon all around for her and I get a year out of them.
I like your diy idea. Most likely cheaper.

Hey Rick, did you decide on an arb mount? And if you do the fridge thing again I still have your old slide in the same condition you gave it to me. I can't get it to work in my back seat without pivoting for the door angle.

From reading online, I read being in the rear of the SUV it's get more abuse than the front. Most SUV rear gets dirty faster.

By buying a wiper then use it as a refill this gives me a larger selection to choose from. The only reason I thought about PIAA is that silicone is supposed to lat longer. Being silicone it's more expensive but withstand the elements better. I think there's another brand of silicone wipers I just have to research them. If the wiper wasn't wider I would have a better choice of wipers.

Interested... What SUV? And just how wide are we talking? This may be the route for my rear next time if you have luck.

    2012 Rav4.

Here a write up on one of the forums on wiper blade refill. https://www.rav4world.com/threads/that-pesky-rear-wiper-blade.70341/

A standard wiper blade doesn't fit to narrow. The only wiper I found to fit is Valeo beside the Toyota OEM wiper.

Wow, so for real, if this was a taco someone would have a mod to just accept a different wiper so you could use a standard blade. Just have to find a new compatible wiper. The leg work might not be worth it.

Picked these steps up today for $250.00 no hardware. They are Cast Aluminum OEM Steps. They offer a little door protection.

Since it's a Limited model it has the wider wiper but I can bolt on a base model wiper arm to accept the standard size wiper, but I like the Limited model better.

I can get a Valeo wiper that is a exact fit to the factory wiper at Autozone, Advance Auto, but for the same price I'll stick with Toyota even though they don't last. I plan on trading it in next year anyway.
