Don't need to touch them for us... They'll need to be adjusted during alignment. Normally I don't touch them.

I wasn't sure if your application, shims were needed. I guess not.

I'm not sure how to word, what the shims are for. As a guess, inward and outward tilt of the wheel.

Caster cant be directly adjusted, you have to adjust your camber to get the caster where you want it, which is done with the lower control arm bolts (eccentrics), or cam bolts as a lot of people on here refer to them

To adjust toe youd need to measure the difference between the width in front of the tires and behind the tires, but also making sure the steering wheel is straight and doesnt move. Lifts more cause alignment issues with camber since youre changing the angle that stuff is sitting at

Are their different way of adjusting caster from, front wheel drive, to 4wd, 2wd, AWD?

I think this picture will show what I'm thinking about.

I didn't realize installing a lift effected the alignment adjustments. I only did alignments on vehicle with stock ride height.

    Yessir

That looks more like an old torsion bar setup from the pic. I'm not super familiar if there was anything special to do with those

Yup, i don't think I have any pics, but its pretty obvious when you look down the side of the vehicle. The front tires have a lot of positive camber after a 2-3" lift that you can see the top of the tire sticks out further than the bottom

Do you have to install anything to help with the alignment when lifting a truck?

Depends, you can get away with stock arms, but at 2.5-3" of lift you probably wont get the alignment numbers youre looking for, so you'll want high caster aftermarket upper control arms to bring everything back to desired alignment specs
