    You need to talk to her about it....Not us.
    Your title seems to indicate that you are going to decide what she gets...Not that you want to make a decision with her...And I can't see option A going well for you. If you've got good reasons and she's open to both...Work with her on it. Show her after market options...Repair costs...etc. But talk with her and go from there.

    The chances of finding side-by-side ratings on these two vehicles might be tough as they are not in the same vehicle class. sites like edmunds.com might allow side-by-side feature comparisons though.

    I worked at Home Depot for 3 years and never understood this. Why do guys send their wives to home improvement places to get stuff like lumber? Where's the fun in being a man if you don't get to go pick out your own 2X4's and load them into your truck all on your own? :rolleyes:

    Some of the wives that were sent in were pretty darn hot too though. So if you want to send them in and be at the mercy of us lumber associates, you go right ahead. ;)

    Couldn't agree more. I can spend all day there. The local Depot is like my toy store and candy store all rolled up into one. And yes, I wonder about the "lifestyle choice" of men who don't feel the same ;) (Just kidding. Kind of. Just a little.)

    The only reason I bring the woman there is to pick out paint colors and stuff. (Seriously, dudes sending their women to pick up lumber? WTF? And what, do these guys do the tampon shopping?) Same goes for cars. Normally I do all the research and narrow it down to a couple choices, she goes with to look at stuff I don't notice: colors, placement of vanity mirror, etc. :D Then "we" decide. BUT, as the OP noted, she seems to already have made up her mind. And once that happens, any continued discussion will be a losing battle for him. I haven't hit that particular relationship brick wall picking out cars (yet) but it has happened in other arenas.
