I'd be down to have like a member-driven giveaway, like a lottery where everyone chips in $1, there's a cap of $100 or so, and the prize is always of the same value

though, I would not want to be the one organizing it..

    wait...isnt that illegal?
    nevermind

Now now...Think of it as kinda being like Super man. You would be doing your regular Canadian thing, then BOOM! You take off like a rocket! Girls would swoon over you. Songs would be written, both in English and French (As your Canadian and all). After a couple times, you could get a cape. And.....well......I guess just have the cape.

I've thought about that too. Still trying to work out how it would work. However, Bob is intent on kee ing the site free for all members. So, having members give money for things is a grey area.

    exactly, everyone wins.

Now, landing is a different story so he'd have to wear a parachute at all times; and another positive to add to the list is nobody can see you cry when you're several hundred feet in the air

    WHOOOOO!!!!!!!

Fly thru the air with the greatest of ease!?

    DREW H THE CANADIAN!

Busted and brused and bleeding is he!!!

    DREW H THE CANADIAN!

still needs fine tuning, but you get the idea.

Would a raffle be within forum rules? Say a vendor like relentless fab has two bumpers, sliders, or skids and those who want to participate send a certain amount and a list is kept of who enters and a winner is chosen at random?

    congrats on 84,000 chris

that'd be cool, but you'd need a lot of people buying a lot of "tickets" to offset the vendor costs of a $500-$700 bumper

being as we all have regular jobs, its hard to invest the time to manage all the money people gave twards the raffle. And to coordinate shipping to the winner, shipping costs (which fluctuate depending on where one resides), costs could vary widely.
