What I've found is it's more expensive with fewer lines on the account. We have 2 phones bought outright on beyond unlimited plans along with my son's watch phone and an iPad and ours is $260ish a month.

You have to watch them jokers because they will change plans around and not tell you then you're paying more and getting less. About once a year check their plans and see what you can get on that's cheaper.

    Edit: We're on Verizon also

I have Verizon and recently logged in and seen I can get a better plan, cheaper than what I’m paying now. I’m still getting the discount through my old work (haven’t been there in over a year and a half) so it’s not terrible. Just ordered new iPhones from ATT and going with an unlimited plan now. My new work has a discount with them and supposedly their service works a little better in our plant.

If you’re somewhere where Comcast offers it, their mobile plans are great. $12 a gb or $45 a month for unlimited. No fees per line. Wife and I pay about $30 - $40 a month for 2 lines.

I recently dumped ATT and went with T-Mobile.

Best thing I've done with cellular.

4 lines. 20GB per line at full speed and then Unlimited after that which may or may not be throttled depending on congestion.

Comes with unlimited streaming of Pandora and Youtube that doesn't count against your data allotment.

And T-Mobile pays my Netflix as part of the deal.

I had a corporate discount with ATT and T-Mobile matched it.

    $150 per month.

Switched my wife from att to consumer cellular. Bought her an iPhone Xs outright but here are the details per month for 2gb, unlimited talk and text. CC uses att towers so service is identical except they are polite and speak clear English when you call. She was super skeptical when we switched but it’s a LOT cheaper.

If anyone wants to switch pm me for more details.

We use Xfinity Mobile (runs on the Verizon network), no line access fee, free unlimited calls and texts and pay $12/gig, our total bill for two phones is usually around $40. Xfinity does also have unlimited data for $45/line but that is over kill for us since we usually have wi-fi.

Man, I feel your pain. Four phones and an ipad on my account. Ticks me off every month. I remember growing up dreading when the phone bill came. If you had a 50 cent call that wasn't authorized, Dad was hot. We lived far enough away from town that it was long distance to call any of my friends. I can't believe how we've gone from being worked up over a small phone bill to easily paying hundreds of dollars.

Verizon has better options for you also if your a vet they have a discount also if your profession has a union that may qualify you as well. Autopay is 5$ off immediately.
Check out their website and see what you can come up with. For 2 lines one for my phone it’s paid off and a iPad with lte both unlimited I pay about 110$ that’s including taxes.

I pay 100 a month for xfinity mobile for unlimited talk, text, and data for my wife and I. I have my phone on the payment plan too so I actually pay 150. Once the phone is paid off our bill will be 100.

Straight talk or cricket like others have said. $45 a month and I buy cheap Android's up front so no paying interest to have the latest and greatest (currently have a moto g6). I stream video occasionally throughout the day and never reach my data cap. No contract either so I can drop or switch at any time. Wife has straight talk as well. Have signal where everyone else does. Heck the wife and I were watching The Revenant this weekend at the San Gorgonio TW meet up at Big Bear without any issue

I'm on T-Mobile. 7 total lines, 4 have unlimited, 3 have 10GB each, and I pay 163 per month after tax (although I did get in on some great promotions with them). I would be hard pressed to change until I can get away with fewer lines for my family.

So like a land line with text. I need email and web for my business. I’m hesitant to switch, because what I have now works well enough.
