It's running on 5 cylinders out of the 6. Has the flashing check engine lite of doom ....

Plan today is to swap coils around to try and find the dead cylinder or coil, also going to pull the plugs and have a look.

With that extension I could change plugs from across the street !

    All plugs looked the same

    It's a fuel problem ? How do I check fuel ?

Well I do on my daily driver but haven't I ruled out that's it's not a coil problem ? Or am I missing something ?

When my coil boot went bad it threw a 300 code. What if you put your whole ignition wires/coils from your DD on and tried to see if it's indeed, fuel or ignition?

er. How long did that tank of gas sit in the new-to-you truck?

And what is a NHL? j/k. We've 'heard' of hockey down here. You need ice for that, right?

I don't think it's indicative of anything except that it runs poorly.

I think I'd change some fluids, your just going to distribute crap into (I assume) an engine your about to use? Gas is prob. bad, oil is def. contaminated with water.

What did previous owner say? "Ran good when I parked it"?
