ok, but my presumption is that the "pursuit" was zimmerman walking, following, trayvon - prior to the ensuing physical confrontation... that is why i believe he has a right to "peacefully" follow trayvon to see what he was up to... i don't see any indication that a physical confrontation occurred prior to a foot chase and eventual secondary confrontation... i don't think that scenario is likely...

Nobody is saying Zimmerman can't follow him are they? Just that if he does follow him, he can't claim SYG.

Ok, you're 17. An older, larger man is following you. You have no idea who he is or what his intentions are. He starts running towards you. You are scared, you defend yourself. He pulls a gun and kills you. What would you do?

If he wants to follow him, whatever. He didn't have to get out of his car and follow this kid on foot.

In addition to that, unless Zimmerman physically assualted him first, there should be NO REASON why Trayvon attacked him. I have no problem with someone confronting someone else that is following them, as they should, but getting physical before you need to or feel genuinely threatened isn't right. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't throw punches unless someone was right up on me or attacking me first. I understand in some cases you need to attack first, (kill or be killed), but i really don't feel that applied in this situation. I think Trayvon was a wanna be hardass and it got him killed. But it should have never come to that. Zimmerman is in the wrong for following him as well.

ok, but your scenario seems to fly in the face of the witnesses who saw trayvon on top of zimmerman beating his head into the ground... there was no mention of a gun visibly present at that point, ..so i find it unlikley that zimmerman tried to do a citizens arrest or something goofy like that...

A guy is confronting me physically, if I can get the upper hand and try to subdue him, I would. If he chooses to be a bitch and kill me, then I hope justice would take care of him.

Is there any proof yet that Zimmerman confronted him physically first.....? I have yet to read that...

No, but your little imaginary situation is irrelevant if you're talking out of your ass without facts..

ok thanks. i traced that back to an orlando sentinal article where it was briefly mentioned... i guess trayvon wasn't a regular visitor there, ...zimmerman thought suspicious?... curious how well zimmerman "knew" the neighborhood/residents, ..how big of a neighborhood... if it was a small close-knit neighborhood i could see the reason for suspicion... i guess could look up on yahoo maps...

Bro, you don't have facts either, so if you want to go there, you can also stop talking out of your ass.

I'm simply presenting a scenario. If you don't like it, I'm sorry. You can stop reading them.

if that is the way it started, then yes i'd agree... thing is, ...there's a lot of speculation still because blanks have yet to be filled in,... my big problem is the mouthpieces trying to raise a mob...

Exactly, speculation and unanswered questions. I'm just presenting scenarios that make sense to me. ;)

Once I see a thorough investigation carried out and more facts are revealed, I'd be satisfied.
