The Taco is now officially my daily driver for the first time since I have owned it. Sold the TDI back to Volkswagen today.

That said I'm already working plans for a Colorado or Canyon Duramax for my daily. :spy:

Not my fave. It's noisy, rough, and gets 15 mpg. And some better technology is nice on the commute.

Give them another year or two to work out all the bugs. My step dad has one and it's had problems with the urea system. It has spent two weeks at the dealership in his first year of owning it.

Other then that they are a nice truck and ride really well.

    Morning

Yeah the tires, bumper, and lift do s good job of making the mpg go away lol

Yeah I have been on the forums/FB groups and reading recalls and tsbs. Looks like DEF quality sensor is flaky. Is that what he had problems with?

Haven't seen any major issues other than that system though.

My buddy wrapped a car around the pole, close to 3 weeks ago. He was pretty bad off. The telephone pole ended up where the shifter was suppose to be. He seen to have been trying to fight to stay alive. Doctors said there was an infection in his blood. They didn't know what caused it. After 3 weeks of fighting.... He passed away Sunday morning :pout:

Anybody interested in a drop-in aFe Pro-Dry S air filter?

For 05-15 (I think it fits all of these) 4.0. I had in in mine for less than a year and it's now been sitting around for a couple years. For a quick local pickup, I'd sell it for $20, assuming I have to go no where and do nothing :D
