Has anyone picked up a 16 or 17 with the blind spot monitors in the mirrors?

I have yet to see what the damn things look like on the back of the glass. Would you mind popping one of your mirrors out and taking a few pictures for me?

I'm a graduate of the Jeremy Clarkson School of Automotive Maintenance and haven't the first idea how to do that without a hammer.

Waiting patiently for the 2016 Tacoma Haynes manual to come out.

Push the glass all the way in at the top. Then reach under the mirror with both hands and pull the mirror out of the housing. There are four plastic clips that hold the backing plate to the motor.

It'll be a similar process to this...

I can give that a shot. I won't get home where I can do it until around 5 - 5:30. Can you wait that long?

I've been waiting since January, so a few more hours won't hurt.

I'm interested to see the electrical connections for both the BSM and the defrost films look. I believe the BSM light will be removable from the backing plate, which will be key if the end user wants to reuse the led on the new mirrors. Also, if you can shine your flashlight through the back of the glass to see if the BSM image is etched into the glass that would be good as well.

    I appreciate the help.

This has to be the prettiest stray/rescue I've ever had lol. On a mission to find a new forever home for him or find his old home but feel like we may end up keeping him

Took him to the vet today and he had no microchip but has a clean bill of health. Only 2 years old. Had a ton of fleas and skin is all irritated but overall a healthy dog

We are good. Fortunately none of my family was flooded.

We have been dealing with a traffic nightmare on the west side here. Two major hwy's and all the roads in between have had water over them. A 30 minute commute has taken 2.5-3 hours

Hopefully the water recedes fast but looks like it'll take time
