    A small collision center in Pearland. I'm starting as a receptionist but they want to train me to take over the accounting when the owner retires and move into more of managing the office.

    Yeah that's really why I accepted it even though the starting pay isn't great. It's more than my unemployment plus I get to be out of my house around cars and have the opportunity to learn a lot that I can take wherever I go if I'm not happy there.

    Hey everyone,
    Just stopping in to introduce myself since I am new to the Houston area. I've lurked around the forum since I bought my Tacoma last year and already found great information, just now got around to actually joining. A little about myself, my names Jon and my wife and I just moved to the area from San Diego with our little 8 month old boy. The Coast Guard brought us this way during the summer for a transfer right before Harvey so that was a nice and busy welcome to Houston for me. Anyways I drive a 14 TRD Sport, Bilsteins with TRD Pro wheels and Wildpeak AT3w's...not much else as of now but we all know that changes quickly. We are over in Pearland so hopefully I will see some others around. Anyways, here is a quick pic of the truck checking out the beach in Galveston a couple months back.

    :rofl::rofl:

    I was in Iowa over Xmas and it was single digits the entire time. I was looking forward to the trip home to get warmed up. Too much of a change too quick, it hurt. 75 here the morning we left, 15 when we got there and that was the warmest it got. Couldn't find my testicles until we found our way back into Oklahoma..... (yes, that is different than a normal day here :p )

    Negative. I can always put more clothes on...but can only get so nekkid. And the more nekkid I get, the more mosquitoes come courting.

    Cold has its benefits.

    That's the problem with living across the street from an elementary school. They have NO sense of humor.
