It started down pouring on us and the rocks got slick. I'm still running stock tires so that probably didn't make it easier.

That water crossing scares me! I was on my bike one time and watched a guy in a TRD Pro flood his engine. I helped him take the plugs out but I think he bent a rod.

Was it super deep or the driver just didn't get a standing wave going? Or just dove in, swan-dive style, and immediately flooded the engine?

Apologies for the delay. I’m sure someone will get this one pretty quick!

    I haven't been, but I know that's one of your go-to spots, so I'm not guessing :D

I’ve only been once, but it’s one of our favorites now for sure

I’m surprised you haven’t checked it out yet!

Maybe I'll take a short motorcycle ride up there to check it out. I should probably put on the new rear tire since the current one is pretty much a slick in the center.

It’s definitely worth checking out. Some really great views, for sure.

I think it gets pretty deep in the Springtime when the melt is still active. Its weird because after the melt its only about a foot or less I have even seen it almost dry some years.

Great views looking toward Estes and RMNP.

I figured it would be an easy one. I thought about saving that one for a hint later, but whatever :D

Not entirely sure what you're asking but Pole Hill has always been an "out and back". There were 2 or 3 loops, but I think they've been closed since the 2015 floods.

What Eric said, but I believe there are still two loops open. We only hit one of them last season, but I’m pretty sure neither of them are closed. I could be wrong on that, though.

like this? The yellow highlight to the top right is the continued road. Now if there is something blocking it, that i do not know.

I meant a couple of loops that came off the main one.
At least one of those closed at one point but I haven't been up there in a few years so they might have opened it back up.
There's also a spur that takes you within a short hiking distance to a fire tower that's pretty cool.
