    Nice. We’ll have to check out that hike the next time we’re up there.

    I know it isn’t Holy Cross or anything super technical, but it’s a fun little trail for a day trip. Some decent camp sites too.

    It also looks like the road continues from the 2nd point all the way down to Carter Lake.... that's interesting. I never tried that.
    Years ago, before I even had a Tacoma, we'd ride motorcycles at Pole Hill, so it was always an "out and back" to the trailer and I've always thought of it that way. It does look like you can travel it though. Now I want to go check it out. :D

    Yep, sorry for side tracking this. I was confusing the road with the offroad trail. From Trail Damage: "FS 247D that connected the 2 loops on the east die has been removed and totally re-vegetated."
