At least yours was only the gate. I wish I could just get a new gate without worrying about the rest of the bed having to get sprayed.

I bought it from my dad, but here are the things that have been done to my truck
    -scratched by girls x3
-girl jumped on roof now has chip and rust
-backed into his girlfriends car, now quarter panel is rusting where it was mangled
-gouged it with a high lift jack (to bare metal), could of been prevented if he aired down like I recommended
    -backed into a pole
-was outside at midnight with a BB gun trying to shoot bugs on the ground. Shot the door instead.

I took mine off-roading a few weeks ago and got this lovely scratch along my back driver side fender/panel/bumper when I didn't take a turn wide enough. Brushed along a solid dirt embankment. Now I'm trying to figure out how I want to fix it. Insurance, cash, new high clearance steel bumper, or DIY. Anyone have a rear fender they don't want anymore??

I said "watch this", then slid slow motion into a snow bank :(

$500 in PDR and a little touch up paint and it's not too noticeable.

    In progress...
Went moose hunting last fall. The trail to get to the river we were going to hunt was narrower and narrower until the bushes touched on both sides. We could hear them slowly scrape the soft black taco paint with the sound of nails on a chalkboard. That noise made us cringe badly. At that point we did the only thing we could do.

    We cranked up the radio!

My wife is bugging me to have those scratches removed, but I know they won't buff out...

Oh, and by the way we came back with a 8 years old bull weighing 1050 lbs!

Pulled up by a pole in a self storage lot and stopped by to look for gate code and forgot about pole and turned wheels to the right and backed up and heard a god awful crunch. Cousin is a painter and ordered new fender and painted it and we swapped it out. Cost was $185 and doing a DirecTV movers to his new house.

Mirror.jpg Driver's side view mirror. I was backing into my garage and...CRUNCH! Had my truck for less than a month at the time, needless to say I was pissed. Luckily I was able to glue the broken pieces back together and get it back onto the truck with no issues.

Does it still count if I wasn't the bonehead who did it?

Took my truck to get a tire patched and the tech at Discount Tire drove it into a pole.

It took every fiber of my being to not cause a scene at the shop when I found out. Currently at a Toyota body shop getting fixed on their dime.

    Ooofa...how much is that costing?

I'd have them fix the fender and then take the rest of the money and buy an ARB bumper and winch!

I melted a part of the tailgate cap.. was sliding in 4x8 plywood and the friction caused a nice gash to appear.

Can't say the thought didn't cross my mind but I'm settling for the TRD PRO grille. As for cost, so far this free tire patch is costing them close to $4500 plus the cost of my rental. The new headlight and foglight alone were over $1k lol.

Was riding on an extremely narrow trail on our land, came across some downed trees and had to do a 30 point trail turn..... guess I kissed a tree when turning around at some point, new taillight, dent at the rear taillight and some "folds" from the rear wheel well all the way back and some pretty deep scratches. I'll replace the light, but will leave the trail rash as a reminder to myself how not to be a dummy....
