Yeah, looks like a Brown Widow for sure, I got these fuckers all over my garage. Heard they're beneficial against Black Widows....truth? IDK.

Doesn't say anything about them being beneficial.
Just seems that this widow can make a home anywhere.

My bad, some sources just say that the Brown Widow is more aggressive TOWARDS the Black Widow, versus the reverse. Some places also say the female Brown Widow is just as toxic, but I guess it injects less toxin and are less aggressive towards people. Either or, it's a spider....live in the garage, DIE if in the house. lol

No worries man. I was curious myself.
    I hate spiders as well!
My cat eats them from time to time. But I think he is learning not to eat them.

Woke up to a text the other day at 4am, from my ex, asking "WTF IS THIS KINDA NOPE?".

It's not that creepy (the spider), but still wouldn't want it in my sink. Pretty sure it's a young Huntsman Spider, I think.

See the V on its head.
This usually indicates that it is a poisonous one.
    I'll look it up

Been looking for this pic ever since I first saw this thread. My old garage was fun.

Same garage. This little ninja kept wandering around like he owned the place. I'd chase him into a corner and he'd sneak up on me from the other side. Eventually released him across the street. Inside of 5 gallon bucket for scale.

All weak moderators leave the room, you know who you are.
I can only imagine the insect invasions you might have had if they weren't there.

Yeah no kidding. Nothing like getting out of the shower and finding a scorpion walking across the wall. Or going for your morning coffee and realizing the floor is moving in your living room, only to realize its a tarantula. Or finding a brown recluse taking up residence in your DVD collection.

Speaking of pest control, these little spiders are my favorite.
