So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Okay. Like I said I followed the instructions closely. Maybe I'll snap another few pics tomorrow so you can see the back corners too.
I'll probably leave it there for now and maybe in spring play around with it.

how is everyone keeping their back window clean on the softtopper? i was able to see well enough when i first bought it but a few months of dust from job sites and wheeling and that window is dirty. been through a lot of rain but it hasnt helped at all. Would a simple windex work on this without damaging it? im worried about it drying out and cracking in the heat

I don't think Windex or similar is good for soft topper windows. I know Bestop sells their own cleaning kit for the SuperTop, but I would assume it work on the Softtoppers as well.

I'm a bit concerned too. Anyone have repair ideas ? Was thinking I could have a second window ready for warm weather and ab repaired window for the winter.
Anyone repair one of these ?

For anyone who's looking to buy one but is worried about shipping, I bought my softopper from lakelandgear.com for $629 and shipping was free. It showed up at my house 3 days later.

    Softtopper, wet okole,
softoppers customer service is AMAZING! I broke one of the plastic arms that hold the bar for the rear window I called them up expecting to pay 15 or 20$ plus shipping........ nope didn't pay a dime all free! I even told them I dropped it and that the part didn't fail, still free.

Fresh softopper for my Tundra. I like it a lot, but instead of putting velcro on my tailgate, I'm having a strip of paint film put across it. I'm also planning to slit the fabric below the rear window and slip magnet strips into it to help seal it against the tailgate-

So far, I haven't even noticed the topper while i'm driving, and it has not been a hindrance. I usually use my camera, mirrors, or just stick my head out the window :D

how tough is the material.. I would like to use it and still put my kayak ( strapped to OEM roof rack) but i assume I would drag kayak over material to position it.. onto roof rack.. question is how strong/durable is the material and could it withstand that few times a year.. or better to fold it down

It could definitely take that a few times a year, but it takes about 2 mins to fold down so you may as well do that. I took mine off this weekend to go through a car wash and it took me maybe 5 mins to do that.

I've been looking for a solution on the back flap. I'm thinking about having an extra piece of material attached on the bottom of it with some good magnets stiched inside. Plus the flap doesn't really come down far enough on mine to fully engage on the tialgate. The velcro was a bust and just came off. But I love my softoper and I'm so glad I got it. I'll post some pictuers up later.
