Is it pushed to far forward? Loosen the front straps a bit to raise the top. Tighten the rear to make up for it. Not sure how much it will adjust.

Was curious about seam seal on outside as well. I have leaking on front and rear seams and I coated the inside with Seam seal. However I see daylight through some pin holes from seams on inside. Thought about running some sealant on outside of seam. Might be light clear, cream color?

I put it on the outside of mine, mostly around the clips. It discolored the canvas sightly. But not nearly enough that it is noticed, by Myself or others. Plus it stopped all leaks!

Awesome. I would think the seal on the outside would be more effective over the long run. I will probably do both either way. It's pretty wet up here in coastal Ak.

I had to apply a couple liberal coats to the front and rear. No issues now.

I heard back from Bob at softopper and he said not to put it on the outside because it will discolor the canvas. The exception is around the buckles.

It's been raining here every day and I'm noticing that the inside front top rail area is where a lot of water is getting in. I'm going to reseal again this weekend with a brush instead if the applicator and see if that helps.

Yah. Maybe I'll just reapply with a brush super heavy along front and rear seams. I had a hard time getting under the flaps where the seams come together. Maybe that's where I went wrong. Really don't want any water back there.

After another rain last night I located the leaking source. I have water coming in between the front of the bed and sides where there is a gap that the canvas sits over but doesn't seal. We've been getting intense rain and wind and it's enough to get more water than I'd like in the bed.

Has anyone used extra weather stripping in that area?

Also, update on the bunched rear window. I removed the window and velcroed it up higher and it sits much better.

I had some leakage there and applied some clear silicone. Haven't had another major rain to test it out

You can definitely use weatherstripping like an adhesive foam for sliding doors. I don't get any water intrusion from the area you're talking about - it may be possible that you have adjusted the front window TOO high?
