Grey would look good too. Even the black isn't bad. I just think the tan would set it off personally. I'm gonna go with bronze wheels eventually also. Think it would look great.

    This and that...

I recently purchased some heavy duty Velcro from Home Depot, 10lbs strength. Two packs and cut them in half to fit on the ridges of the bed cover. It seems to be holding well. We'll see when the temp drops here in CO. Seemed like good adhesion and the Velcro was very secure. Hasn't budged.

Im not sure what you are asking. I used three supplied snaps to secure the flap that goes into the bed. There is no need whatsoever to secure The flap that hangs between the cab and bed. It doesn't move at all unless the interior flap snaps are accidentally left undone.

Finally bought one. Have had mine on for only a few weeks, but knew this was the best options for me. Very please with it. After my experience with Bestop on my Wrangler, previous vehicle, I wanted another option. A smaller company based in CO seemed right. The build is very well designed and not worrying about windows cracking in the winter was a plus. I have the pet screen in the rear which I wont have to worry about either. Never installed the Velcro on the tailgate. Doesn't seem to need it and doesn't touch the paint either.

I also decided to spray bed liner on all the parts. I didn't care for shinny aluminium. It was a process but well worth it. Just make sure you cover up all the snaps, sand, and use a self-etching base coat. Use whatever you like after that.

Their must be different aerodynamics involved for different vehicles.

I tried to leave my front piece unattached on my Tundra, it blew all over the place. I attached the snaps and now is all good.

My rear window cracked on my last trip. 65 degrees and out on the beach.

Guess it's time to contact customer support. I was planning on switching to my mesh screen for the winter anyways before it got cold. I wasn't thinking it would crack while it's still in the 60s.

    EDIT

Contacted ST and they are sending me a replacement. Customer Service is top notch! I was on the phone for less than 10 minutes and had to send a photo of the crack.

The same shit everyone else has.
Im pretty sold on leaving my Supertop on the truck over winter this year because I really dont feel like changing how I have my recovery boards, Rotopax, & shovel and ax mounted.

Any tips on winterizing it? Or suggestions? I usually dont have a reason to unzip the back window 97% of the time unless Im camping and I dont plan on doing much winter camping out of the bed. I never unzip the side windows.

My biggest concern is snow sitting between the cab window and topper window and damaging the window cleanin the snow

Thinking about selling my tonneau and going soft topper. Any advice, tips, or product recommendations would be appreciated.

Get a Softopper not Bestop. Quality is great and worth it in my opinion.

If I need to haul some oversized cargo and need to tie some stuff down and what not. How long does it take to collapse it?
One more thing (and excuse my ignorance) but the wind noise, is it a problem?

No worries, it takes about 5 minutes to take down. Only thing to be careful with is the windows. I don't fold mine, I roll them. If you fold they will crease. I haven't noticed road noise

Just got mine installed. Took about an hour to do, but I was going slowly and reading stuff over twice. Already added about 50 miles of highway driving and haven't noticed and excess road noise. Very happy with quality if the material

Collapse it? 30 seconds. Two to five minutes to take it off and that includes walking it to the corner of your garage. Wind noise with a Softopper is zero. They don't flop around. I've driven over 80 mph in 40 mph gusts and it doesn't move. Just sits there. It's not like putting a freaking fabric tent back there.

Longshot here - looking for a Bestop Supertop rear window (over tailgate). Can confirm that they will crack if stressed when cold...

Have you adjusted the corner straps?
