Yeah I know, I have been Eyeing you rack too, but would really have to get my welding game together to be able to do what you did. The idea of being able to buy something off the shelf is interesting if possible

My welding is no where near nice but it holds so I'm happy with it. I had about $250 in materials. Most of that cost was in the threaded bushing ends. They weren't cheap. I salvaged most of the metal from @Mobtown Offroad recycle bin thanks to Joe, which saved me a little bit. Its all tubing from his sliders so its plenty strong. I know allpro makes them as well but aren't cheap if shipped welded. Same with SOS.

How do the stickers hold up on the vinyl window? Nice truck by the way.

I just went out and took some pics for anyone interested! They're called Hauler Racks and their website is VERY frustrating haha http://www.haulerracks.com/

I made these crossbars out of some aluminum flat stock from home depot and they are just bolt on with rivnuts. The quickfists are also mounted on the crossbars with rivnuts.

I cut the rack down to fit snug over the topper.

I bought a second set of softopper clamps so that I could mount it.

Thanks! When I was coming up with designs for my rack, I was on Instagram and I saw your truck and then I got real jealous haha

Thanks! They're holding up great, most of them have small bubbles, but it doesn't bother me at all because I use the softopper everyday haha

I just grew a set and took mine thru the car wash.

I ponied up for the extended wash version so I could expose it to the most aggressive wash.

I'm extremely pleased. Very little water was found in the truck bed after.

    Color me happy.

Anyone have experience with snow load on their topper? I will be taking an extended vacation and having to leave my truck in a secured lot at airport for a month. I was thinking about just folding down when gone but then am concerned about the vinyl windows cracking when it gets cold, especially when I come back and unfold back into position. I can't take it off before I leave because I need the coverage for protecting my families luggage. Leaving Sunday. Thanks for any feedback!!
